Chase Tag (Atari 2600)

Chase Tag is a fast-paced tag game for two players, developed entirely from scratch in 6502 assembly for the legendary Atari 2600. A duel of reflexes, speed, and strategy, packed into an authentic retro experience.

🕹️ How to play:
One player runs. The other chases. If the chaser catches the runner, they score a point! The game ends when a player reaches 12 points.

🎮 Game Modes:
Use the Game Select button to choose from 6 different modes, mixing difficulty levels and who starts as the chaser:

1. Easy map – Player 1 chases

2. Easy map – Player 2 chases

3. Medium map – Player 1 chases

4. Medium map – Player 2 chases

5. Hard map – Player 1 chases

6. Hard map – Player 2 chases

👉 This setup lets you switch roles between matches without having to swap controllers. Perfect for fast, fair play sessions with a friend.
